Mr R Heathcote

Co-opted Governor

Sits on: Attendance,

Following my graduation from Brunel University in 2002, I decided to complete my PGCE at Worcester University and in 2005 joined the staff at Turves Green Boys’. I was then appointed Head of PE in 2011following a year in temporary charge. I have been a staff governor for the past 3 years and I am extremely proud of the contribution I have made so far in both my PE and governor roles. I believe the staff and the student's strong relationships are what makes this school such a fantastic place to work in, and by being a governor I hope that I can contribute further towards the development of the school and the experiences that the pupils gain during their time here.

Mr J Sweeney

I was born in Birmingham, a city that I am very proud of. I studied Graphic communications at Matthew Bolton College. Started my working life at Cadburys and then moved to Kalamazoo where I worked for thirty-five years. Twenty years of which I was a union representative and then as the Graphics Manager. Both positions important in helping to create the harmony, balance and the good working conditions that this local employer was well known for. My intention of working as a governor here is to make sure that your child receives an educational experience that is no less than I would expect for my own children.
